- If the Sign Up Button on the Right of the Item does not work…Click the box on the left and Sign Up at the bottom of the page.
- All Volunteers Place your T-Shirt Size next to your name. If you signed up by Early Bird deadline you should have the correct size.
- Friday Setup Team 5/3– Meet at the club from 4-7pm to prep the club for race day. Duties will include setup of the clubhouse, construction of the balloon arches, registration table setup, stuffing of swag bags, etc. Pizza will be provided. Come for the entire block of time or portion of the time – it shouldn’t take long if we have a good team of workers.
- Saturday Morning Setup Team – Meet at the club from 8am-10am to assist with setup and final prep before the race. Duties to include putting out food, setting up taco bar table, helping to place balloon arches at setup and finish & assisting with any last-minute details needed to ensure a smooth start to the event.
- Registration/Results Table – Arrive at the clubhouse at 8:30am to work the check in table. Check in begins at 9am and runs until the race begins at 10am. Once the race begins, these volunteers shift roles to working the results table. Which they will man until the last racer crosses the finish line, most likely no later than 11am.
- Start & Finish Line Photographers – Looking for volunteer to help capture all the fun moments of the event. This can be a community resident using their phone, we are not looking for a professional photographer. We just want to make sure we don’t miss the opportunity to take pics because we are busy working the event.
- Clean Up Team – 1pm-3pm – could be shorter if we get it done faster 🙂 Kitchen clean up, trash removal, take down signs on the course, dismantle balloon arch and tidy the club from the event.
- Safety Marshals – Safety marshals are on the course cheering on the racers and ensuring they are staying on course. Its an easy and fun way to be a part of the race without running or walking yourself – you can even bring a camp chair to sit while waiting for racers! Safety Marshals report to their spot on the course around 9:45am and stay in place until the last racer passes them on their way to the finish line. Afterwards they are welcomed back to the clubhouse for post race festivities & fun!
- Sweeper/Safety Cart – The sweeper rides on their golf cart along the race route to ensure that all racers are doing ok. They also stop along the route to pick up any trash from water stations to ensure we leave the race course & our community litter free.
- Water Station – There is one water station on the course and this team of volunteers helps setup & distribute cups of water & Gatorade to the racers as they pass by. They are also cheerleaders! Volunteers should report to the station by 10am and they will be done no later than 11am. At the end of their volunteer time, they will pickup all water cups and place in the trash bag provided. This is a fun way to be a part of the race and be in the middle of the action! Its also a great way to get the entire family involved!
- Taco Bar Items – Bring what you think is BEST for Tacos! Meats and beans should be minimum Medium Crockpot size. Taco Bar items are for approx. 80 persons currently and are considered a volunteer position gaining you access to the after party and a t-shirt. Please bring ample amount to feed the quantity of people estimated divided by the # of spots available for that item.
- Corn Hole Boards & Bags – Drop Off your game for use at the club by 10am Saturday.
Thanks!!
